A wise man once said ‘there is no love sincerer than the love of food’. Here at Our Cow Molly good food is a way of life, we strive to bring you the best ice cream we can (and we know you like it thanks to the Exposed Magazine awards) but why stop at ice cream? Sheffield is a honey pot of fantastic food producers, and we want to share the wealth with you fellow foodies.

On Sunday June 6th 2010 we hosted a celebration of all things local at the Our Cow Molly farm. We showcased some of Sheffield, and the surrounding area’s, best known food producers, as well as some of the smaller ones you didn’t know were out there.

There was also a Guinness World Record attempt by Sheffield University to make one litre of ice cream in less than 18 seconds (using liquid nitrogen no less). As you may have read in the press it was a successful attempt. Using Our Cow Molly ice cream base mix, Andrew Ross of Sheffield University set a new world record of 10.34 seconds!
